“ This was my first time eating at Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken. The inside was cool and had a very nice vibe to it. I tried the chicken sandwich and the chicken strips. The sandwich was definitely very good. I would say better than KFC , Popeyes, and all those other places that sell chicken sandwiches. The price I felt was fair for what I ordered. I think it was 15.00 for the sandwich meal and 10.00 for the strips. I did try them both with the hottest sauce they had the hangry sauce. The sauce I felt was hot but nothing too hot for a person who likes spicy things. You will have to sign a waiver to eat it also. Usually, I would say that I would return to a place when I like it. But honestly, I probably will not be back and not because the food wasn't good. More because of location. I would recommend trying Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken if you see one or happen to be in the area. I don't think you will be disappointed. ”
“ the angry hot is awesome. good breading, by flavor and crisp. same as well as the angry hot flavor, good hot quality flavor. the sauce is not a cheap glaze clothing sauce you get at a Applebee's, it's a good flavor that's been raised by a healthy childhood with both parents still married in a good house and a nice neighborhood. ”
“ My granddaughter who is 5 yrs old and I went for lunch. We shared a Mega Sando, waffle fries and a Reese’s shake. The staff were helpful and friendly. I felt welcomed even with my granddaughter asking alot of questions lol. Normally, I am not a fan of coleslaw but this was a perfect amount and gave the sandwich an extra crunch and the pickle too! It made for a very tasty sandwich. I chose no heat and honey bbq sauce. I love that the spice level is up to the individual making it easy for a family or a “chicken” to spicy food still be able to enjoy when they have more daring company with them. Waffle fries were fresh and crispy. Don’t skip the shake! It was nice and thick and creamy. Plenty of Reese’s in it as well! 10 out of 10 recommend! ”
“ You say you like chicken wings and and chicken nuggets fried chicken sandwiches? Hangry Joe’s is the place for you. Everything is made-to-order. But your short wait time is amply rewarded by the results. The chicken wings were hot and crispy. The insides still juicy. The chicken sando hit all the right favor points their special sauce, cole slaw, and pickles. The chicken breast itself was as well cooked as the wings. The service was very friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. Hangry Joe’s is substantial step up from the other corporate-owned fried chicken places. ”
“ Now that was pretty good! I will say right off hand- the wait was a bit more than I'd like (almost 30 mins for 18 wings, 2 orders of fries and a shake) but we'll worth it for what I got. Tried the Smokey BBQ (wet) and the Medium (dry rub) and I would point t out a couple of things: The size of the wings were great! Nice and meaty The Medium is more Hot than medium. I eat a lot of spicy stuff and this Medium was deceivingly hot, so if you want truly Medium, I'd suggest going one step lower. Very good portion, but could def use some sauce on the side if you like your wings saucy. The fries were nice and the sauce they came with was also pretty good.. and I don't normally use condiments on my fries. I also tried the strawberry milkshake and it was very tasty, creamy and tasted natural. Nice selection to try from the menu, so I def will be back to do so. ”
“ I'm sitting here in the restaurant as I type this review. This is our first time dining here. Let me say Anthony L. I believe he is the manager is absolutely amazing. He's running this entire restaurant by himself. He greated us with a smile recommended food for us to try. Everyone was taken good care of. He made all the food fresh and brought it to our tables. He's doing dine in, take out, and doing it with a smile. This man is going above and beyond and he should be greatly rewarded. The food was delicious. Sorry I cannot load the pictures. ”
“ I had a great experience at Hangry Joe’s in Wesley Chapel. The customer service was excellent — everyone was very kind and welcoming. I ordered the Korean chicken and cheese fries, and both were delicious. The chicken was very flavorful with just the right amount of crispiness. The cheese fries were also tasty and stayed crispy, although they were a bit on the oily side. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back! ”
